Delivery time and shipping method

Delivery time depends on the composition and/or whether or not the selected product is in stock. The delivery time is listed with each product on our website. These delivery times are for delivery in the Netherlands. Customers in Belgium and Luxembourg will receive their order once a week on Monday or Tuesday (if ordered before noon on Friday). Although we do our utmost to live up to the stated delivery times, occasionally delivery may take a little longer.

Once you have ordered and paid for a product, you will immediately receive the order confirmation by email.
We will then work on your order and send you an email within 24 hours of ordering (on weekdays) with the shipping method mentioned and the day of delivery. Also, you will then receive the invoice.

Large products (chairs and desk tables) will be delivered to you by our regular carrier ( Jac. Molenaar Transport). In that case, you will receive a text message the day before delivery with a time indication of the delivery. If you are not home at the time of delivery, the package will be taken back by the carrier and a new appointment will be scheduled with you.

Small products will be sent to you by PostNL. In that case, you will receive a message with track & trace code so you can easily track your order. If you are not at home at the time of delivery by PostNL and the package does not fit in the mailbox, you can pick it up at a collection point.

For all orders, small or large, shipping is free.

Delivery not possible

If we cannot fulfill the agreement because the product ordered is not available, we will notify you here immediately and refund the payment already made in full within 48 hours.


All items you buy from us are covered by the legal warranty. Legal warranty means that a product is or should do what the consumer can reasonably expect it to do. This legal warranty applies to the factory warranties and any additional warranties offered by us.

As a consumer, you have a 14-day cooling-off period on the online purchase . Are you not satisfied or is the product incomplete, defective or damaged, and want to return or exchange the product? If so, please let us know.

If you want to return a product, you can notify us in advance by contacting us by phone (+31 (0)204234100 or sending an email ([email protected]). Should you wish to return a product, you are not required to notify us first.

Please return the products to be returned and all delivered accessories, if reasonably possible, labeled and in the original and undamaged packaging.


1. What should I do?

You report the incomplete, defective or damaged product to ‘Scholtens Workplace’, this is not necessary for returning a product.
You can do this by sending an email to [email protected].

Please attach a description and photo of the problem.

Should you wish to return a product, you are not required to notify us first and the right of withdrawal is not mandatory.

2. What is the next step?

Upon receipt of your email, we will process the application. We aim to respond no later than 3 business days.
We will then send instructions on how to return the product.
Large products (office chairs) are picked up from the customer by our carrier. Small products can be returned by the customer via NLpost.
There is no charge to the customer for the return.

3. What should I think about when returning?

For prompt return and warranty processing, it is important that you return the product complete and, if reasonably possible, in its undamaged original packaging.

If the product is carelessly packed, costs for repackaging and repair may be charged. If the fault is on our side (incomplete item or not working upon receipt), the items can be sent for free. In other cases, the cost of shipping is your responsibility. You will then be responsible for any damage or loss during transport to our warehouse. This cannot be recovered from our transportation insurance.

4. What happens after I have returned the product?

We will refund the entire purchase price (including any shipping and payment costs) as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after receipt of the cancellation notice. However, we may wait to refund until we have received the products, or until you have demonstrated that you have sent them.

We do not charge for returns.

Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers have the right to withdraw from the contract within a period of 14 days without giving reasons. The withdrawal period expires 14 days from the day on which you or a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the good. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement (in writing by mail or e-mail). You can use the  Form_for_revocation , but are not obliged to do so. You can also use the European model withdrawal form for this purpose. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal. If you withdraw from the contract, you will receive back from us all payments you have made up to that point, including delivery costs (except for any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) without delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract. We will refund you using the same means of payment with which you made the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not be charged for such refunds. We may wait to refund you until we have received the goods back, or you have demonstrated that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first. You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay, but in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate the decision to withdraw from the contract to us. You are on time if you return the goods before the 14-day period has expired. You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for the diminished value of the goods resulting from the use of the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and function of the goods. In the event of any damage or an unstamped shipment, we may charge a fee. If unnecessary damage has occurred to the product, we may charge for this depreciation.

In a limited number of cases, by law, you as a consumer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal. This could include, if there are chairs that are custom made to the consumer’s specifications.
