Material Description

Seat shell: thoroughly colored, recycled polypropylene, 100% recyclable. All models are available with a seat cushion (bolted to the seat shell) or full upholstery. The variant with full upholstery consists of a molded polyurethane foam upholstery covered with fabric and attached to the seat shell with piping. Various colors of shell and upholstery and different bases offer plenty of room for combining.
Please note that due to the composition of the recycled material, the colors of the seat shell show very subtle pigment specks.
Options: the Eames Plastic Chair RE is available as a visitor chair, dining chair, rocking chair, swivel chair or as a stackable version with brackets to link the chairs together in rows. Seats on traverses are suitable for waiting areas.
Base: wooden base in various shades of maple or honey-colored ash, stained or lacquered. Supports made of steel wire in basic dark. (DAW = Dining Height Armchair Wood Base)
Wood origin: ash wood (Fraxinus excelsior) and maple wood (Acer platanoides) from Western Europe and/or Poland.
