Will I get advice when picking out a chair?

Of course, we will test different chairs and then see which one suits you best. We’ll also look at how to sit at a desk with the chair and advise you on the ideal worktop height.

Our store in Amsterdam carries almost all the products you can also find on our website.

At Scholtens Workplace, anyone can go. We do not differentiate between individuals, self-employed persons or small and large companies and institutions. Are you an individual looking for “just” 1 chair? With us, you are welcome!

It depends on the brand and type of product. Herman Miller, RH and Rovo office chairs are delivered fully assembled. Office chairs from the HÅG brand are delivered unassembled. Assembly is very easy. Desk tables are delivered (well packed) unassembled, this is to avoid damage during transport
All products we sell are new and have the full manufacturer’s warranty. Clearance products always clearly state the warranty.

Fortunately, it is rare, but should a product prove damaged upon delivery, please notify us as soon as possible.
We will then ensure that your product is exchanged for a new product.

Mount

Customers who buy in the store receive detailed explanations from us.
If you buy online you will receive an instructional video from us.
Can’t figure it out? Then call us so you can receive instruction from us over the phone.

If you have ever successfully assembled an IKEA product, you will also succeed in assembling a sit/stand table. However, it is recommended that you use a cordless drill (with bit holder and bits) when assembling. This will save you a lot of time. If you don’t feel like assembling it yourself or if you still can’t figure it out, you can use our assembly service. Contact us for options and a quote.

Showroom

You can find us at IJburglaan 467, 1087 BE, Amsterdam. From the A10 ring road, we are very easy to reach (take exit S114 IJburg). For further information, see our contact page.

Yes, there is plenty of (paid) parking available.

We are also easily accessible by public transportation. Take streetcar 26 from CS Amsterdam and get off at the Vennepluimstraat stop.
Then it is a 5-minute walk to our store.

Our store in Amsterdam is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00-17:30 am.
You can drop by without an appointment.
